Responsibilities

The position will involve but not be limited to the following responsibilities:

  • Answering incoming calls and greeting customers.
  • Assist customers with billing information and other requests.

  • Monitor cash sale collections, run credit card batch and prepare daily bank deposits.

  • Distribute incoming mail.

  • Code invoices for accounting.

  • Assist the HR Department in handling HR documents, job postings, conduct new employee orientation and serve as a contact for basic benefit questions.

  • Schedule DOT screening tests and physicals.

  • Process Worker’s Compensation claims and assist in coordinating light duty work for associates.

  • Serve as Wellness Committee chairperson.

  • Serve on the Safety committee for the Pickrell location.

  • Be aware of associate’s schedules and contact information in order to better serve our customers

  • Sort and file customer packing slips.

  • Manage office supplies, novelties and product literature for the location.

  • Maintain MSDS information.

  • Coordinate/plan United Way Campaign, company picnic, annual holiday celebration, customer appreciation breakfast and other events.

  • Provide assistance to the parts department daily to assist in pulling parts for customers, warehouse operations, cycle counts, inventory audits and additional parts duties as needed.

  • Minor cleaning duties as needed

  • Work on various projects and tasks for multiple departments as needed.

  • Assist Store Manager.

  • Assist the sales group as needed including inputting surveys and maintaining spec sheet inventory.

  • Assist the service department as needed including typing quotes for repairs.

  • Schedule pool vehicle usage and coordinate licensing of pool vehicles.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • A two year degree or equivalent experience and training preferred.
  • Previous phone experience
  • Experience with Excel/Word/PowerPoint
  • Able to handle multiple tasks
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Good organizational skills are essential
