Condition Monitoring Specialist

The position will involve but not be limited to the following duties:

  • Develops customer equipment management strategy
  • Develops customer packages to support equipment management strategy
  • Manages electronic equipment data
  • Serve as main point of contact for Caterpillar regarding Product Link
  • Serve as the main point of contact for AGCO regarding AgCommand
  • Lead Projects with Manufacturers on new service development
  • Supports the deployment of telematics (i.e. Product Link, Vision Link)
  • Identifies customer information and reporting needs and generates necessary reports
  • Works collaboratively with all areas of the dealership to share information and utilize resources to resolve issues or perform services for the customer
  • Serves as the single point of contact for equipment management solutions for customers
  • Supports the prime product sales people and Product Support Reps in identifying the customer’s equipment management information solutions
  • Becomes and remains knowledgeable in the applications and use of technology products and their value in reducing customer O&O costs
  • Provides Service, Sales and Parts departments with technical support for Product Link/AgCommand telematics devices
  • Assists in quoting of telematics packages for customers, sales, service, and parts
  • Register/Setup new technology devices
  • Manage work order processing/billing of telematics subscriptions and devices
  • Work with Trimble/Caterpillar on trouble shooting system issues
  • Works within and promote vision, mission, and values of BMC
  • Is required to travel
  • Performs other duties as assigned


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Technology-related field, or equivalent experience
  • Preferred 5+ years’ experience in the mechanical/technical side of heavy equipment
  • Proficient in MS Office, ability to use SQL
  • Possess a high interest in changing technology
  • SOS and DBS

  • Electronic equipment inspections

  • Site conditions
  • Good communication skills in both written and verbal are a must
