    Responsibilities

    The position will involve but not be limited to the following duties:
    • Collaborates with supply chain touchpoints to research item status to proactively prevent customer issues
    • Researches and documents status of unfilled customer sales order lines and other known order issues on a daily basis
    • Communicates with vendors to determine the status of POs
    • Review all orders for inventory availability and delivery date requirements
    • Populates information into backorder database in a timely manner
    • Ensure that stores are informed of production and transportation delays
    • Work with stores to research and account for shipping/receiving discrepancies when a supplier has indicated they have shipped goods not yet in dealer inventory
    • Identifies problem vendors and escalates recurring issues such as consistently late orders, receiving discrepancies caused by damaged or missing product, and missed delivery appointments
    • Works within and promotes vision, mission, and values of BMC
    • Performs other duties as assigned

     

     

     

    Qualifications

    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
    • Strong computer skills are a must.
    • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
    • Must have analytical thinking and decision making competencies.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Accounting; or equivalent experience or training is desired.
    • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
    • Ability to perform basic and more complicated mathematic fundamentals (add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals).
    • Parts experience preferred
    • Preferred location is Fargo but also consider other store locations
